A watery, soothing, rhythmic pattern printed with oak gall on iron dyed organic cotton sateen.
This print was originally designed for my appearance at Collect 2024. It speaks to perseverance and inner strength, as well as deep emotion. This is the sister pattern of the print ‘Silver Girl’.
I brewed the iron dye from an old machine part I pulled out of the river Turret, and the oak galls come from trees along the same stretch of river.

Reverse: 100% linen from the last linen factory in Scotland. Envelope closure.
